Ash is Purest White US Trailer

Ash is Purest White US Trailer

brief:
Ash Is Purest White US Trailer
Jia Zhangke’s epic answers several about these problems he’s covered through his earlier few films (Mountains May Depart, A Touch of Sin) especially the near-absurdities of a quickly growing new China, and it's as very polished as ever. With Ash, though, there’s a form twist; a sort of romance gangster story shot into Jia’s position, hanging camera. A deceptively steely Zhao Tao stars as a woman ordered of the man that, for more suitable or worse, is the love of her life, and places out to find her step back to him regularly two and like decades. It’s as much a story of a country repairing itself as that is of one woman giving the kindred, and with its gutting determination, you’ll think as if yourself moved those projects and years in Zhao’s shoes.

Qiao (Zhao Tao) is in love with her boyfriend Bin (Liao Fan), a small-time gangster. During a fight between rival gangs, she fires a gun to protect him. Qiao gets five years in prison for this act of loyalty. Upon her release, she goes looking for Bin to pick up where they left off.
From director, Jia Zhangke (Still Life, A Touch of Sin)
