The movie starts with Akshay Kumar singing the song "Everything's Gonna Be All Right" for the children in the school. He then starts speaking to one child who appears to be discouraged. He then relates the tale of Jumbo to this issue.
Jumbo is a little blue elephant (voiced by Akshay Kumar) who turns up with his mother (voiced by Dimple Kapadia). His mother nevermore reveals any parts of his father and neither do the rest of the elephants in the herd. He is a nice go lucky elephant, who prefers to play with the other animals of the jungle. Occasionally he would be braved by the complex elephants of the people, which would bully him on the history of his dad.
Tired of being teased about his father's cowardice in amazing war, he defies his mom again who somehow manages to rubbish the topic. One night he comes to know that a great battery has developed to the jungle, and they recommend an overnight stay. In the hope of discovering his father, Jumbo sets out to the campsite, and engineers to establish a tent that houses the royal elephant of that army.
