Manchu Vishnu was born on 23-11-1981 in Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. He is an Indian Film Actor, Film Director, Film Producer, Educationist & Philanthropist who well recognized for his work in Telugu cinema had a brief assignment as a child actor with the 1985 film Ragile Gundelu. Years later, he played in the 2003 Telugu Action Movie Vishnu, for which he obtained the Best Male Film Award.

Manchu Vishnu did his education from Padmaseshadri Balabhavan School. After schooling, he did his engineering in Computer Sciences and Information Technology from Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College. During the time of his engineering, he was active in sports and he managed to represent the Bhaskar JNTU cricket team. And also he was the captain of the Univ basketball team. He made his acting presentation through his father's film Ragile Gundelu in 1985 as a child actor. In 2003, he made his debut as a lead actor from the Telugu film "Vishnu".For that film, he won the Filmfare Best Male Debut award for his outstanding acting on the silver screen.
He is co-owner of the 24 Frames Factory film production company and is an administrator with Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust, established by his father and Telugu veteran actor, Mohan Babu. He is founder and president of the New York Academy, a growing American international school in Hyderabad, led by his wife, Viranica Manchu, and his father, actor Mohan Babu, who is the president. He is also president of SpringBoard Academy and SpringBoard International Preschools, which has more than 75 branches in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
Vishnu Vardhan Manchu was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, to veteran actor Mohan Babu and his mother, the late Vidya Devi. He grew up with his brother Manchu Manoj Daughters and his sister Manchu Lakshmi.
