Twenty-three years following, Sahir (Aamir Khan) robs several parts of Western Bank of Chicago.
Despite all efforts of law implementation, the robbery isn't foiled and he successfully gets away. Officer Victoria (Tabrett Bethell) calls ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) and his associate Ali (Uday Chopra), for help in resolving the case. Jai baits Sahir into rolling again by doing it known he's on the case and that the thief's an amateur.
Sahir poses as a subject for Jai and manages to gather knowledge on the line while giving Jai a lead to follow. Ultimately, Sahir robs the bank and leaves, but Jai and Ali serve him. Jai, while hanging on helicopter stairs, leads to killing Sahir on the left arm before he goes.
