Bhairava Dweepam (English: Bhairava's Island) is a 1994 Telugu, folklore fantasy film produced by B. Venkatarama Reddy on Chandamama Vijaya Pictures banner, written and directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Roja Selvamani, Rambha in the lead roles and music composed by Madhavapeddi Suresh, which remained a chartbuster.

Jayachandra Maharaja of the Chandraprabha Dynasty leaves a woman, Vasundhara, who gives birth to his son. Vasundhara loses the baby in a cyclone while crossing a river. She is protected by a hermit named Jamadagni near the river. Vasundhara tries death. Meantime, the child is found by tribals and brought to their settlement, Kotala Kona. The community chieftain and his wife adopt the baby and name him Vijay.
Once Vijay and Kondanna go to a tree of rain, which grants salvation. He seems to see the sovereign Padma in an edge and falls for her class. The veterans report this incident to Padma's father Brahmananda Bhupathi. Vijaya intrudes into the house over to have a look of Padma. He talks to her and moves from the king's palace completely with his sword-fighting talents. The Padma also appears in love with Vijay.
Brahmananda Bhupati invites the modern warriors to a Swayamvara. Vijay and Kondanna appear at the home in disguise. At the same time, Uttar (Giri Babu) and Dakshin (Subhalekha Sudhakar), boys of Jayachandra Maharaja's second wife appear at the castle. Confused, Brahmananda Bhupathi enables both characters to stay in the home for the whole day. Following a number including the Padma, Vijay's fraud is detected.
In a faraway island, Bhairava, a medium – who aims at winning fame, is doing evil worship for the giant statue of the dark muse. Wanting to reduce a virgin's blood for the dark demigoddess, at night, with his magic, he brings the Padma, along with the bed, to the land. In a trance, Padma gives a word to the dark demigoddess that she will become back on the ensuing full satellite day for her present. The same night, Bhairava sends the Padma behind her building.
