Ammoru (Goddess) is a 1995 Telugu language Indian mythological fiction film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The movie was 

producer Shyam Prasad Reddy under MS Arts Unit. 
The film stars Soundarya and Suresh in the lead roles with Ramireddy, Vadivukkarasi, Kallu Chidambaram and Babumohan defining nursing positions.

The movie turns around Bhavani, who is a devotee of god Ammoru, the rest of the movie revolves around her devotion towards the goddess who saves her from evil authorities. The film's soundtrack was composed by Sri. The movie's cinematography was sold by C. Vijay Kumar. The film shifted strong at the box office and received positive acclaim for visual effects. The film was dubbed and released in Tamil as Amman and in Hindi as Maa Ki Shakti.

Bhavani (Soundarya), a lower-caste child and a fervent supporter of Goddess Ammoru (Ramyakrishna), is responsible for the arrest of the corrupt Ghorakh (Rami Reddy) for him hitting a young girl by beating her alive. Ghorakh is freed from prison, vowing revenge. Bhavani is married to a physician, Surya (Suresh), who appears to be a connection to Gorakh. Surya goes abroad to study, leaving his wife unprotected. 

At Ghorakh's mom Leelamma (Vadivukkarasi) tries to kill Bhavani, including the help of Leelamma's creditor, this Goddess Ammoru (Ramya Krishna) falls to earth, kills Leelamma's lender and then takes the form of Bhavani's small maidservant (Baby Sunaina) in order to defend her. Bhavani's domestic tortures Leelamma, her husband and her daughter. One day, Surya turns to India following his foreign affairs and Leelama tries to charge Bhavani that she is having an illicit relationship with a strange man in his room. But the assistant saves Bhavani and has Leela's child instead of in her bedroom. 

The daughter is married to that man by Ammoru. Ghorakh was released from jail due to Gandhi Jayanthi and chooses to take vengeance against Bhavani who was the reason for his arrest. First, he decides to kill Bhavani by giving her gas when she was pregnant. But goddess Ammoru, which is in the form of the servant girl saves her. At last Ghorakh finds out who that real life is who makes his ability broken. 

Ghorakh finds that Bhavani's servant is goddess Ammoru, who kept her and the child in her womb. At last, following the child's birth, Ghorakh plans to dismiss the slave by making Bhavani say that until Bhavani sets a bottu on the goddess' forehead and asks her to come, she should not come. Ghorakh kills Bhavani's baby daughter and beats Surya, with the help of evil spirit Chanda. Bhavani prays to goddess Ammoru to protect her, but the goddess takesn't react to it. At last, she puts her hand on the Goddess's trident and she suffers. 

Ghorakh draws her in a bid to strip her, doing some bits of Bhavani's blood to spill on the goddess' forehead and she returns in her most dangerous form and kills Ghorakh. She then turns her form to the slave girl. At last, Surya and Bhavani realize that the assistant girl was actually the goddess and she (Ammoru) states Bhavani's child (whom she rescued from Ghorakh) to Bhavani and blesses all of them.
